Against an ancient, bored sorcerer and his army of rampaging dinosaurs. It was, Aris had to admit, a premise that would have made for a rather sensational, albeit entirely fictional, children’s book. And as a colossal Diplodocus lumbered past, narrowly missing Rexy’s perfectly sculpted hair, Aris had a sinking feeling that his quiet life of cataloging fossils was well and truly over. The age of the fallen beast had arrived, and it was, in a word, ridiculous.
