…"The portal!" Leo yelled, pointing back the way they had come. The blue glow was still visible, a beacon of hope in the encroaching darkness. With a shared understanding, they turned and ran. The ground beneath their feet seemed to ripple and shift, the path twisting and turning as if the very world was trying to hinder their escape. The oppressive presence of ‘God’ pressed in on them, a suffocating weight that threatened to crush their spirits. Leo could feel its gaze, a burning intensity that followed their every desperate stride. They were no longer just explorers; they were prey, and the hunt had just begun. The shadow of ‘God’ was long, and it had fallen directly upon them.
