…“Then let’s begin.” The family gathered in the great hall. Eve handed Adam a map of the mortal world, marked with faint glows where potential apprentices might be. Sarah adjusted his collar. Kael clasped his forearm. “Search well, my son,” Kael said. Adam nodded, then turned to the door. Ally stood beside him, Deven in her arms. The autumn wind carried the scent of adventure. “Together,” she said. “Together,” he echoed. And they stepped forward into a new chapter. --- The distant whisper stirred again, somewhere beyond the sealed tomb. The web was not undone. But Adam had love, family, and a charge to fulfill. And that was enough for now.
