He'll burn this place to the ground once he realizes what's here." She handed me a duffel bag from her shoulder. "Start loading. I'll watch the door." I stared at her, searching for the lie. But her eyes were steady. Tired. Resigned. I grabbed the first stack of papers and shoved them into the bag.
