…"Already initiated," the AI said. Aris closed his eyes. He could feel the energy moving through the lines, spreading across Venezuela, feeding cities, homes, hospitals. It was a good feeling, even if he couldn't fully remember who he had been before. "Aris," Lena said softly. He opened his eyes. "I'm still here," she said. "I'll help you remember." "I know you will," he said. And though he couldn't recall the first time he'd seen her, he knew with certainty that she had always been there, and always would be.
