…Yahweh smiled, a gentle, knowing expression. 'You have found your way through the darkness, and you have brought your sister with you. That is no small thing.' David looked at Dianne, at the wonder on her face, and felt a sense of peace settle over him. 'I am ready,' he said. 'For whatever comes next.' Yahweh nodded. 'Then come. The weave is patient, but it does not wait forever. There is still work to be done.' David glanced at Dianne. She squeezed his hand and nodded. 'Go,' she said. 'I'll be here when you come back.' He smiled, and together, he and Kaelen followed Yahweh into the light.
