…As the years etched deeper lines upon his face, Mihnea stood at a crossroads, not of action, but of reflection. He had done all he could. He had fought the good fight, armed with truth and a son’s unyielding love. Now, he could only surrender the verdict to time, to the collective memory of a people, and to the enduring, often fickle, currents of history. Would his legacy be etched in the annals of truth, or lost to the shadows of the Dragon’s terrifying fame? The answer, he knew, lay not in his hands, but in the hearts and minds of those who would come after, those who would inherit the land his father had fought so fiercely to protect.
