…The mystery of Vlad the Impaler was slowly, painstakingly, being unveiled, and in its place, a new truth was emerging, a truth that Mihnea, his father’s devoted son, was determined to see etched into the very stones of history. The battle for his father’s soul, and for his family’s heritage, was far from over, but for the first time, Mihnea felt the stirrings of a profound, unshakeable hope. The dragon, he knew, was finally beginning to breathe fire again, not in fury, but in defiant, protective strength.
