Sarah watched him, her heart pounding, a silent question hanging between them. The equipment check was complete, but the real test, the test of their restraint and the burgeoning heat of their passion, had just begun. They left the storage room, the unspoken promise of what might come hanging heavy in the air, the smoldering embers of their attraction now threatening to ignite into a full-blown flame.
