…He prophesied within his house, his eyes wild, his movements erratic. And then, with a sudden, violent lunge, Saul hurled his spear, aiming to pin David to the wall. David, his senses sharpened by an invisible grace, dodged. The spear embedded itself in the wood, a testament to the king’s murderous intent. It happened again, another spear, another near miss. David escaped, not by his own strength, but by the unseen hand that guided him. Saul, his heart consumed by a gnawing fear, now dreaded David, for the LORD was with him, and had departed from Saul. The shepherd, once overlooked, now cast a shadow that loomed larger than any giant.
