…He turned away from the edge of the clearing, his steps no longer hesitant but purposeful. He walked towards the village center, towards the gathering crowd, towards the ailing heart of Berrywood. The fear was still there, a faint tremor in his knees, but it was no longer in control. Something stronger, something braver, was taking its place. He was Mowe, and he had a secret.
