…Dr May picked up the Prism—it was surprisingly light—and handed it to Joe. “We’ve only just begun, my friend. Let’s see what this world has to teach us.” Joe held the Prism, feeling its warmth. It pulsed in rhythm with his own heartbeat. He looked back the way they had come, but the passage had sealed shut. There was no going back. Only forward. “Ready?” Dr May asked.
