…I looked up at Mom, my eyes shining. “It’s… it’s amazing, Mom! It’s even sparklier than before!” Mom hugged me tight. “It truly is, sweetie. It’s a star with a story. And I think Santa will love it even more because of that.” I leaned against her, a deep sense of peace settling over me. The worry about Santa not liking the tree was gone, replaced by a warm, happy feeling. Our tree was ready. And it was, without a doubt, the sparkliest, most wonderful tree in the whole wide world. I couldn't wait for Santa to see it.
