Ryy: The Whispering Sands

Previously

…The path back felt shorter, lighter. Ryy walked with a newfound purpose, her hand still stinging, but her spirit soaring. She was no longer just Ryy, the girl who heard whispers. She was Ryy, the keeper of the desert’s voice, the bridge between her people and the ancient spirit of the sands. The whispers would continue, but now, she would not just listen; she would understand, and she would guide. The oasis would heal, and the desert would breathe again, all because a single pact had been renewed, a sacrifice made in the heart of the whispering sands. The weight of her destiny settled upon her, not as a burden, but as a mantle, one she was ready to wear.
