The adventure wasn't over, not by a long shot, but for tonight, under the clearing sky, there was only peace, and the quiet satisfaction of a job well done. Russo, the rooftop Chiweenie, the mountain goat in disguise, had earned his feast. And as he dreamed of towering peaks and endless fields of delicious, chewable paper, Amy Kathryn and Rex knew that their little companion, with his boundless spirit and peculiar habits, had indeed earned his place as their very own hero. The grand adventure had taken an unexpected turn, and they wouldn't have had it any other way.
