…“The Serpent’s Pass,” Steadee murmured, a spark of understanding igniting in his eyes. He traced the lines of a carving with his finger, his mind racing. “Yuen Jin mentioned ancient guardians… trials… This isn’t just a wall, Rock. It’s a test.” As he spoke, a tremor ran through the ground. The air crackled with unseen force. Before them, the stone wall shimmered, and a section of it began to recede, revealing a dark, cavernous opening. Standing silhouetted against the dim light within was a figure of immense stature, cloaked in shadow, its presence radiating an aura of ancient power. It was a guardian. The first trial. Their ultimate test had begun.
