Recording to me

Previously

…I pulled out my phone and opened the recording app. I pressed the red button. "This is Danguole. The live stream is over. The team is celebrating. And I think—I think we might have done it. Not just the presentation, but something real. Something that might actually help." I stopped the recording. The windmill was still there, but now it looked less like an enemy and more like a landmark. A place we had reached together. My phone buzzed. A message from Simona: "Let's meet tomorrow at 10. Bring Laura. We have a lot to discuss." I stared at the screen. The hook was set. The path forward was opening. And for the first time in weeks, I felt ready to walk it.
