You’ve come further than you know.” Jaxson took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his grandmother’s locket against his chest. He thought of the dream, of the shadowy figure who had always been there, guiding him. Henderson was that figure. And now, the final chapter was about to begin. “Let’s go,” Jaxson said, his voice steady. Henderson nodded, and together, they vanished into the night, bound for Alcatraz and the showdown that would decide the fate of San Francisco.
