…He stood up, walked to his window, and looked out at the glittering city lights. Somewhere out there, danger was rising. And somewhere inside him, a spark was growing into a flame. He didn't want to be a hero, but he didn't think he had a choice anymore. "Prowler," he muttered, trying the name on his tongue. It felt right. In the shadows, he could move unseen. In the silence, he could listen. And maybe—just maybe—he could make a difference. But first, he had to learn to fly before he could fall.
