…The wanderers weren’t an invading force. They were echoes of a forgotten past, manifestations of a deep-seated sorrow tied to the very land Linkon City stood upon. And her resonance, her ability to connect with the spirit of the city, was somehow intertwined with this ancient grief. The conflict between her and Zayne, born of their differing approaches to the threat, suddenly felt insignificant in the face of this revelation. This was not just about protecting the city from an external enemy; it was about understanding its deepest wounds, and perhaps, about healing them. The path ahead was clearer, yet far more complex than she could have ever imagined.
