…“We had no choice,” Bruce said, his voice flat. “If we stayed, we’d all be dead.” Danny sat on the ground, his head in his hands. “What do we do now?” Bruce looked at the factory, his eyes hard. “We go back. But this time, we finish it.” They stood in the silence, the weight of Harry’s loss pressing down on them. The night was cold, the stars hidden behind clouds. And somewhere in the distance, they could hear the faint sound of metal scraping against metal, a reminder that the factory was still waiting.
