…Ren closed their eyes for a moment, a sense of quiet triumph washing over them. They had faced a part of themselves they had long tried to ignore, and in doing so, had found a new strength. The Antagonist was still a threat, but now, Ren understood its origin, its vulnerability. And with that understanding came a renewed sense of purpose. They would continue to draw, to create, to complete. For in finishing the stories, they would also find a way to banish the shadows. The sketchbook world, and Ren’s own heart, were slowly, tentatively, being brought back into the light.
