…Squeaky’s eyes grew wide. “We have to find it!” Greg looked at the sky. The sun was starting to set. “Maybe another day. But I’d like to see it someday.” As they walked back, Greg felt a warm glow inside. He had made a new friend, and the woods didn’t seem scary anymore. He wondered what other secrets the Whispering Woods held. That night, as Greg tucked himself into bed, he thought about the glowing flower. Maybe tomorrow he and his friends would go looking for it. And maybe, just maybe, they would find something even more wonderful. The daisy outside his window glowed softly in the moonlight, as if it were winking at him, ready for the next adventure.
