That is what will defeat the shadow." As Greg and his friends descended into the mist, a cold laugh echoed from somewhere ahead. The serpent's voice slithered through the fog: "So you have come. The new moon rises tomorrow night. And I will be waiting." Greg gripped the pot tighter. "We'll be ready." They pushed forward into the mist, the grey flower glowing brighter as if it sensed what lay ahead. The final battle was close, and Greg knew that whatever happened, they would face it together.
