It slammed into the hull, a sickening thud that vibrated through Elias’s very bones. The Sea Serpent tilted precariously, water sloshing over the gunwales. Elias’s heart hammered against his ribs, a frantic drumbeat against the terrifying symphony of the sea. He gripped the wheel tighter, his knuckles white, his gaze locked on the churning water where the beast lurked. This was no longer a fishing trip. This was a fight for survival.
