…As Nina and William began to sketch out their story, a few more children started to drift closer. Leo, after a moment of hesitation, even picked up a piece of paper and a blue crayon, his eyes still fixed on the unfolding scene at William’s desk. He didn’t say anything, but he started to draw his own spaceship, a little wobbly at first, but with a determined line. The quiet hum of the classroom was starting to change, becoming a little bit louder, a little bit more joyful, as new connections began to form, sparked by a curious girl and her new friend.
