My Mom, My Hero

…Leo often wondered what made his mom so wonderful. Was it her magic hands that could soothe a scraped knee with just a gentle touch? Was it her super-hearing that always seemed to know when he was trying to sneak an extra cookie? Or was it just the way her eyes lit up when she looked at him, making him feel like the most important person in the whole universe? He didn't know for sure, but he knew one thing: he loved his mom more than all the stars in the sky. She was his hero, his best friend, and the most amazing person he had ever known. He couldn't imagine a world without her laughter, her hugs, and her endless supply of love. She was, quite simply, everything.
