…Jon watched him go, a slight frown on his face. “He seemed rather upset,” he mused. He then turned his attention back to the battered remnants of Barty’s trap. He picked up one of the tin cans. “Still, that was rather exciting, wasn’t it?” He gave the can a little shake. He’d nearly forgotten all about the Giggle Gem. But for a brief, exhilarating moment, he’d been too busy enjoying the sheer, unadulterated mayhem. And that, he realized with a quiet sense of wonder, had been rather fun.
