…Everyone has a story, a tapestry woven with threads of joy and sorrow, triumph and tribulation. This is mine. And at the heart of it, a constant, unwavering presence, is Patrice. Who would have imagined that even now, so far down the road, the pandemic would find me, would test me in such a profound way? But through it all, one truth remains, a beacon in the often-turbulent seas of my life: my sister is my lifelong hero, a savior sent by God, always there, always ready to pull me back from the brink. Her courage, her sacrifices, her sheer, indomitable will have shaped me, protected me, and given me a second chance, time and time again. She is, and always will be, my miracle.
