I just… I just broke the city.” “Precisely!” the Professor exclaimed, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet. “You have provided the impetus, the spark, the… well, the mayhem! Now, we simply need to harness it. Come, come, don’t dawdle. We have a city to re-illuminate. And I have a rather ingenious, albeit slightly hair-brained, plan brewing.” He grabbed Ellie’s arm, his energy infectious, and began to pull her deeper into his cluttered workshop, towards the dimly lit brass contraption that hummed with an almost palpable anticipation. The city might be dark, but for Ellie and Professor Quibble, the adventure was just beginning.
