…Luna paused, looking back at Xylo. “We’re across?” “We are,” Xylo confirmed, his voice echoing slightly in the new terrain. “The river is behind us. But the journey is far from over.” Luna nodded, her heart a mix of relief and trepidation. She had faced the River of Lost Souls and found a way to cross. She had outsmarted a riddle, or at least, she had found a path through it. The thought of the next challenge, whatever it might be, sent a familiar shiver down her spine, but this time, it was mingled with a growing sense of her own resilience. She had survived another obstacle. She was still on her way home.
