…She looked back at the dark opening, the faint humming still echoing in the distance. It was a temptation, a mystery, but Xylo's words echoed in her mind: "Do not be tempted." She turned her back on the sound, on the unknown, and focused on the figure of Xylo, slowly disappearing into the encroaching gloom. She would follow him. She would try to understand his cryptic advice. She would try to survive. For now, that was enough. The journey home felt impossibly far, a star lost in an ocean of darkness, but for the first time since her fall, a tiny ember of determination, fueled by Xylo's reluctant guidance, began to glow within her. She was Luna, and she would find her way.
