…“Hunter!” His expression changed. And then he said the words that made my blood run cold. “Don't trust me with the second key.” The entire room flashed violet. I screamed— And woke up. I was back in bed, breathing hard, my hands tangled in the sheets. Hunter was beside me. Awake. Watching me. “Moona?” he whispered. “What's wrong?” I stared at him, trying to convince myself it had only been a dream. Then I noticed his hand. He was holding something silver. A key. And when he realised I was looking at it, his expression went completely still. Neither of us spoke. Because suddenly, I wasn't sure I wanted to know what my dream had been trying to tell me.
