…And somehow, I had a horrible feeling this year was going to be much worse than the last. Especially when I reached my classroom and saw the seating chart pinned beside the door. I scanned the list, praying that my name wouldn't be anywhere near his. Then I found it. My name. Right beside his. You've got to be kidding me. "Problem, sunshine?" I closed my eyes. His voice came from directly behind me. I didn't even need to turn around to know he was smiling. This was going to be the longest school year of my life. And the worst part?
