…And behind the river, half-hidden by the spray, was the waterfall. It cascaded down from a high cliff, its roar mixing with the river's song. And behind the waterfall, just as in his dream, was the dark mouth of a cave. Larry stared, his heart racing. "It's real." "It is." Rojas pointed. "The cave is there. But we must cross the river first." Larry looked at the water. It was wide, the current swift. "How?" Rojas smiled, a rare expression. "Follow me. And do not let go." He stepped into the water, his hand extended. Larry took it, and together, they waded into the river that sang.
