Connor, his curiosity piqued, moved towards the chest. “What is it?” Amy followed, a knot of apprehension tightening in her stomach. She looked from the journal to the chest, a dawning understanding beginning to form. The warning, the shadow, Grandpa Bob’s room… it was all connected. And the key, she suspected, lay within both the written words of her grandfather and the mysterious glow emanating from the chest.
