…Ignis froze, tail twitching. I put a paw on his shoulder. “Whatever comes next, we’re together.” The Heart Crystal pulsed, gentle and steady. Griznak gulped, looking from Ignis to the figure and back again. I narrowed my eyes, adjusting my cravat for luck. The adventure, it seemed, wasn’t quite finished—at least, not yet. With one last look at each other, we stepped forward, the first stars winking awake in the twilight sky, and the promise of home just out of reach. To be continued…
