…I stood there for a long time, watching the city lights and the stubborn wildflower. The despair hadn't vanished completely, the fear still gnawed at the edges of my consciousness, but something had shifted. A tiny seed of possibility had been planted. The foundation of my life had crumbled, yes, but perhaps I could rebuild. Perhaps, from these very cracks, something stronger, something more resilient, could grow. The night was still dark, but for the first time in what felt like an eternity, I could see the faint, distant promise of dawn.
