…Owlette’s chest felt lighter than it had all day. Maybe not knowing was a little bit like flying—scary at first, but also exciting. She bobbed her head and gave Mama Owl a big, feathery hug. “Thanks, Mama. I think I’m ready to try the debate. Even if I make a few mistakes along the way.” As the sun dipped behind the trees and the evening breeze danced around their branch, Owlette felt a bright flutter in her heart.
