…Owlette laughed, light and bright. The pride she felt now was very different from the old puffed-up kind—this one tingled all through her wings. She looked at her friends, at Professor Maple, at the evening sky spilling gold across the playground. As they clambered onto the tire swing, feet and wings in a tangle, Owlette realized something new: maybe wisdom wasn’t about knowing everything, but being ready for whatever the next question might be. And if she didn’t have the answer just yet—well, she certainly knew where to look: right beside her, with friends who didn’t mind if she was right, wrong, or simply still learning.
