I fell in love with a random guy

Previously

…It was a city of dreams and of nightmares, of beauty and of danger. And Alex, her Alex, was at its heart. She had fallen in love with a random guy, and now she was being asked to choose between safety and a love that burned brighter than any fear. Not yet. She needed to understand what she was willing to fight for, and what she was willing to risk. The choice, she realized, was not just about Alex; it was about her own strength, her own desires, and the kind of life she was truly meant to live.
