…As the crowd erupted in applause, Jack raised the medal, its weight a comforting presence in his hand. He looked out at the sea of faces, no longer seeing them as judges, but as fellow inhabitants of a kingdom he had helped to save. He was a '2', yes, but he was also a hero. And in that moment, he knew that his rank would never define him again. His journey had just begun, and he was ready to face whatever cards life dealt him, with a heart full of courage and a spirit that had finally found its rightful place. The Card Kingdom was safe, and Jack, the boy who had run away from his shame, had returned to find his true strength, not in a higher rank, but in the unshakeable belief in himself.
