…A raw, furious sound escaped Betty’s lips. Her jealousy, her frustration, all coalesced into a singular, burning emotion: rage. Her mother had been taken. Her brother was out there, perhaps oblivious, while she, Super Lavender, was here, failing to protect her own family. Without a word, she stormed towards the door, her mind set on one thing: finding Barbara. “Betty, wait!” Kastor called out, starting to rise. But Brandon, his eyes calm and steady, placed a hand on Kastor's arm. “It’s no use,” he said softly. “She’s determined. We just have to follow her.”
