…"We have to choose," I said to Echo, my voice firm. "We can try to put them back, or… or we can try to find a new way." The beast was almost upon us. The Weaver watched, its form a shimmering enigma. The Architect’s metallic voice remained a distant, ominous presence. The choice was mine. And the weight of it, the true nature of my predicament, settled upon me with a chilling finality. My past was the key, and my future depended on what I did with it now.
