…"You cannot defy the fundamental laws," he stated, his voice strained. "Perhaps your laws are not the only ones," I replied, meeting his icy gaze. The blue light pulsed around me, a shield and a weapon. I was no longer just Elias Thorne, the amnesiac lost soul. I was a question, a disruption, and I was beginning to understand the nature of this place. It wasn't Heaven, Hell, or Earth. It was all of them, and none of them, a single, malleable reality, and the Architect was merely one of its enforcers, not its creator. My journey to reclaim my past had just become a fight for the future of all of it.
