…Amy closed her eyes, a deep breath escaping her lips. Tomorrow might bring another morning, a chance to continue her work, to find solace in the familiar rhythm of her verses. Or, it might bring the gentle embrace of the moonbeams, a final, silent journey into the darkness. The uncertainty, once a source of torment, now held a strange, melancholic allure, a testament to the unseen stories that continued to unfold within the quiet chambers of her heart and her art. The angels might sweep, singing Ne gently, but the whispers in the night, the call to the darkened room, they lingered, a haunting serenade to the unknown that awaited her sleep.
