The world lay before her, a vast, uncertain horizon, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, she was ready to take that first, fragile step into it, carrying her sorrow not as a burden, but as a faithful companion, ready to witness the unfolding of her own reluctant flight. The question lingered, a soft echo in the twilight, whether this journey would lead her towards true liberation, or simply to a different, albeit more mobile, form of shadows. The flight had begun.
