"They will decide what to do with the truth." "And if they decide to punish us?" "Then we will face it together." Issa looked at Leandros. He met her gaze, and for a moment, the world fell away. "Together," she said. He nodded. They sat in the courtyard as the sun climbed higher. The fountain murmured. A bird sang somewhere in the garden. And somewhere, far away, a ship was sailing toward Rome with a letter that would change everything. But for now, they had this moment. This quiet. This peace. It was enough.
