And perhaps, just perhaps, he’d also dream of the little fairy who had outsmarted him, not with fire or fury, but with a clever plan and a well-timed berry. Sammy giggled, a soft, musical sound. It had been a good fight. A very good fight, indeed. And she, Sammy, was the victor. The meadow was quiet. The dragon was gone. And the elderberries, well, they were still there, waiting for another day, another adventure. For now, Sammy decided, a nap was in order. A well-deserved, victorious nap.
