He had sent his true voice out into the universe, a slightly wobbly, undeniably unique broadcast, and for the first time in a long time, he felt a surprising sense of liberation. The outcome, whatever it might be, suddenly felt secondary. He had written his story, and it was, in its own peculiar way, a masterpiece. The blinking cursor was gone, replaced by the quiet hum of a job well done, a chapter closed, and a surprisingly hopeful, albeit slightly clumsy, hello to whatever came next.
